The Grains of Sand of Time

Brother Sun reaches out, warms the land.
With Mother earth will always stand,
Father Time, hand in hand,
And slowly go the grains of sand,
The grains of sand of time.

Sister Moon proudly glows,
Watch from the North the cold wind blows,
From the South the warm she knows,
One always quickens, the other slows,
For the grains of sand of time.

From the East comes all the best,
Leaving ruin for the West.
And humans always are the guest.
From time to time there comes no rest,
For the grains of sand of time.
